One of the best decisions I have ever made as a pig producer was to employ the services of Michael Merriman and Sons to carry out my pig haulage requirements. Their trucks are first-rate: well-designed triple decks which we can load quickly and quietly, so protecting the welfare of the pigs; and always well-maintained, so that everything works as it should, even on the coldest January morning, and so that we never get the dreaded phone call to announce a breakdown. Mick and his sons all know exactly what they are doing: they handle the pigs with expert calmness, they are well-versed in the operation of their trucks, and when it comes to driving, they are smoothness and calmness personified. I could not recommend them highly enough.
